PhD position on "Highly Absorbing Metamaterials for Broadband Applications" at the Technical University of Denmark
Dear all,
The Acoustic Technology (ACT) group and the Centre for Acoustic-Mechanical Micro Systems (CAMM), both at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU), offer a PhD position entitled "Highly Absorbing Metamaterials for Broadband Application".
This position is part of the Signature project in collaboration with the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST). Other two PhDs and a postdoc have recently satarted at DTU, and an equivalent number at KAIST, South Korea.
The projects are focused on practical applications in acoustics, such as loudspeakers, wall partitions and, in the present announced position, absorbing materials. It is expected that the DTU expertise in advanced numerical modeling and shape/topology optimization will be employed in the project.
The link with details and application procedure is below. The application deadline is 1st May 2019.
